Artist's Comments

An écorché I made this summer on an anatomyclass.
It´s sculpted in Chavant medium and the sculpting took 5 weeks.

It´s about 75 cm tall and weights about... hmm, maybe 2-3 kg or something. Used about 4-5 packs of 1kg chavant on the dude, but then you carve out the pelvis, ribs and stuff.

The perspective in the camera makes the legs look short... just so you know, haha! :)

The accuracy and level of detail in In the flesh... by ~Kulken is incredible, especially given the complexity both on the skeletal and soft tissue layers of the human body. (Featured by ^Thebuild)
